Nicolo Lonardo Turtur and Anna Maria Sasso number 36
https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12 ... 01/wb2NARv
thank you
Marriage took place on 22 September 1834, Parish of Signor Pappagallo
Appearing before the official were:
Groom Nic(c)olo’, Lonardo, Cor(r)ado Turtur, 25 yo, pescatore (fisherman), born and living in this town of Molfetta, Strada Borgo, No 2V, son of Luigi Turtur, also a pescatore, living herein, and of Angela Ciocia, living herein
Bride: Anna Maria Sasso, 23 yo, born in Bisceglie, and living in this town of Molfetta, Strada Piazza No 19, daughter of Mauro Lonardo Sasso, a pescatore, living herein, and of Mabella Mirolla, living herein.
The dates are a bit strange. This Promise was made in May 1832, banns were posted seven months earlier in October 1831 in Bisceglie, bride's birth town, and they were not married in the church until 1834.
I think that the marriage was delayed because the parents were not united in giving their consent, but I can’t catch all the words because of the quality of the script. Anyways, they did eventually get married but I’d be digging further.
I'll take a look at the second Marriage Record shortly.

Thank you, thank you, my friend. I couldn't decipher those words, and I intended to put a question mark after my brackets, in the hope that someone would help with it. You know my methods so well. Thank you, as always.
I hope I interpreted the first Act correctly. The dates for the different events were a bit puzzling.
