Finding Your Family's Coat of Arms

Post by acman319 »

Hi again! Does anybody know of any reliable websites or other places where I can get an accurate family crest (coat of arms)? I have looked on various websites for my last name, but I can't tell if theier results are accurate or not. The brief surname history I know is false because it said that it orginated in Sicily, and I know that it orginated in Abruzzo. I was just curious as to how accurate these sites are and if anyone knows where I can find accurate family crests. Thank you.
Ciao!

Hi acman319,

I read somewhere that you should contact nobility/heraldry societies about accurate coat of arms........Remember, not every name has one.
