Basile Family Information

This is my first post, thanks for your patience. I am trying to get information on Giuseppi Basile who came to America in 1894 or 1896. Giuseppi married Maria. He arrived through Philadelphia, PA and settled in Hazelton and was a coal miner for a few years. By 1910 he had moved to Philadelphia. I believe he died around 1947-50 and Maria died in 1968. I have reason to believe that he came from the area near Castroregio, Calabria. He may be related to Domenico Loprete. We think Maria's maiden name may have been D'Angelo. Any information would be appreciated.

and check if they have the micro films for that area.
then order them in and perform your own research.

Marla, I see yo made it this far. If you look at the posting I did for Looking for Giuseppe Loprete, you will see everything that was found on him and the documents on the Lopretes.
Maybe if you include the street Giuseppe lived on in Philadelphia, you may get more leads.

I know that Guiseppi lived on 47th street in Philadelphia for many years. In fact they had that house until Maria's death in 1968. Is there any other information I might have that can help ?

I too have Basile relatives:

(Maria?) Filomena Basile, married Domenico Trimarco of Castelluccio, Cosentino in the late 1860's. I think Filomena was originally from Buccino, but she died in 1871 after giving birth to her third child, Giovanni Trimarco. Any connection there?
