Re: Bertolino and Bommarito
Thank you for this information! Also, I have family paperwork for Vincenzo Bertolino and Caterina Ruggirello & their children from Comune DI Paparella San Marco.
Re: Bertolino and Bommarito
From what I understand in reading an Italian link, the town of Paparella San Marco is now known as Valderice.
Hopefully one of our Italian posters can confirm, my Italian is only so-so!!

Other family related : Jacobucci or Jacopucci (from Central Italy).

Re: Bertolino and Bommarito
Hi,
I am from Gloucester, where there is a sizable Terrasini population including some Bertolinos. Back in Terrasini in the 1860s, my g-g-g-aunts (LoChirco, Evola & Tocco families) married Bommaritos. Have you read Blood Washes Blood by Frank Viviano? There are a few references to Bommaritos. Book is about his genealogy research project set in Terrasini to find out details of an old murder. Excellent read! You may not learn any genealogy pertinent to your search, but you'll get a feel for time and place. See my website about my project.
Good luck,
