Salandra, Matera, Basilicata

Can anyone help me with research in Salandra in 1800s? I've ordered & viewed the films available from FHL but they do not cover dates chronologically. In fact, while the description says Salandra is included, some of the films do not have Salandra records. Ugh!

I urge you to include all names & information on the tombstone. As others said, we do not know the circumstances that caused their names to be omitted.
In my personal experience, I found my great-grandmother Anna Maria LEONE (nee' PANELLA) buried in the plot of my grandparents about 25 years prior ...

I have Paradiso ancestors last known to be from Salandra, Matera, Basilicata, which is not far from Craco. Francesco PARADISO married Pasquarosa BASILE about 1816. Their son Giuseppe married Angela SAPONARA in 1850.

My 3rd great-grandfather, Vito PANELLA married 1st to Veneranda MAROTTA in Armento & after her death in 1814 married Vittoria ANGERAME.

Vito died in 1832, Armento. I found Vittoria's death in Armento - 1861 Image 39 #75 - on antenati site.

Rocco SAPONARA b ca 1794 - d 16 Feb 1848 in Salandra. Married to Teresa BENEDETTO b ca 1801.
Parents of Rocco are Giuseppe SAPONARA d 1795 in Salandra & Rosa LAURIANeed info on Teresa's parents & of course any other data. :D

I am researching in Armento, Potenza Province; Salandra, Matera Province & Santeramo, Bari Province.

The surnames are PANELLA, DONADIO, SENISE, MAROTTA, SAPONARA, PARADISO, BENEDETTO, MANGIERI, LEONE, di SANTO, VOLPE, & others.

Family Death Records

A friend mentioned that she was able to obtain a printout of "Family Death Records" which listed the Surname, father & mother, grandfather & grandmother, Place of birth, date of birth, marriage, date of death & comments.

All of this was on a 'ledger type' sheet & all were of the same surname ...
