Hi Valarie;
Any kind of records would be great but for now I think it would be easier to find US records.
And yes I do believe that is the correct census - the dates seem correct and the names seem correct too. Thank you.
I have a 1930 Census for Frank & Assunta (Susie) Abena; a 1920 Census for Mary Chirico; and a 1910 Census for Mary Chirico; and a ship manifest for Frank Abena. Besides that Im kind of lost; any way you can help; I would be very grateful;

One time Garberville resident Frank Joseph Abena Jr. died at 8:50 p.m. Oct. 7, 2008, at Providence Medical Center in Kodiak, Alaska, from complications related to his recent heart surgery. He was 89.
Frank was born Aug. 17, 1919, in Oakland, Calif., to Frank Sr. and Susie Abena. He graduated from high school in 1937 and pursued his life-long profession of cabinet making and carpentry. He was a fine craftsman.
Frank married in 1940, started a family while working in the shipyards in Richmond, joined the Navy in 1943 and served in the South Pacific during World War II. In 1950 he moved his family to Garberville where he enjoyed hunting, fishing and raising his children.
In 1976 Frank moved to Kodiak, Alaska, a place he loved with a passion. Two of his favorite endeavors were catching big halibut and silver fishing in the Pasagshak River. After living on Kodiak he had no desire to return to the lower 48, or, as he called it, “the jungle.â€
Valarie, you are truly amazing. This information is really great. I loved the passport application with the picture and the obituary gave me alot of info to look into. Thank you so much. Is there anything else you can help me out with?
