Casarga, Italy

[Debbie_tavella]

I was told our family was Genevese, I found that on the ellisisland.org website, my great-grandfather stated his last place of residence was Casarga, Italy. Trying to find where this is? Does anyone know?
thanks

Hi Debbie,

The place you are looking for is probably Casarza Ligure (the 2nd place mentioned in Wildspirit's reply). It's approx. 15 kms south of Genoa along the coast.

thanks to you both!
