help with attachment

Can anyone give instructions for attaching a document to message?

I've attempted attaching a 'jpg' or 'tif' or 'pdf' & get a response: "no post mode selected" - would appreciate someone's assistance & direction.

The easiest way is to use a free hosting service, then post the link to your document
Many of us use imageshack.us
After you upload, copy the 'direct link' to add to your post
Let us know if you get stuck

May I suggest you use a jpg file. It seems to work best for me.
Like Valarie said, after clicking on the direct link, just copy and paste to the forum.
