Getting married in Positano...Thoughts?

My girlfriend and I have recently become engaged and she has begun the obsessive planning process.

We decided to get married in Positano Italy and are looking for any advice on if it is more cost effective to get married in Positano and stay in Sorrento or somewhere else? I plan to do a ton of research, but wanted to see if anybody has done this before, or lives on the coast and could recommend anything; hotels, food, destinations, churches, transportation, activities, etc etc.

If you were to recommend Sorrento, Naples or surrounding area is it an easy commute to Positano?

What are your thoughts and any opinions please? Thank you!
