Re: Naturalization records
Hi ERudita
If you look through the record in the middle of the record it says she came to the US as Rosalia Tartaglione in 1909

Re: Naturalization records
The Rosa on the passenger list was born in 1907, and the Rosa in this naturalization record was born in 1892 and married in 1911. I don't believe this naturalization record is for the correct Rosa Tartaglione. I believe the passenger list that suanj found is for the correct family. Also the Rosa Tartaglione Maddalena in this naturalization record is on the 1930 census with her husband Angelo Maddalena in the Bronx, NY, and the initial post indicates that Rosa T married in Pa in 1930 a man by the name of Anthony Cuccaro. The record you found is for a totally different family, as far as I can tell.adelfio wrote:Hi ERudita

Seems like you know what you are doing - and wondering if you can help me....
I'm trying to find petition/naturalization documents for my grandfather to no avail and have written to a variety of agencies w/o response....
GF: Emidio (Emilio) Planamente (On various docs name ends a,e,i, o BUT birth/death & marriage certificates I have name ends E
Born may 15, 1890
He traveled to Philadelphia twice including ship manifest for arrival September 3, 1920 to visit cousin on 10st Philadelphia and listed as married....manifest has name crossed out but found as Galileo Planamento
In August 1930 he arrived in ny - with my grandmother (first wife died in the 20s)
Was married in castelli Italy February 1930
Her ame is Madelena Teresa Giardini
In the 1940 us census he was living at 317 Halstead ave in Harrison, ny and listed NA (naturalized) on census...
