Searching for Records on Cosimo Iacobucci & Agata Di Iorio

[adelfio]

What I would do on your visit if you have the time is go to the town church for earlier records of Barbato Iacobucci abt 1789 and his wife Donata Bottino abt 1787 and Felice Colantuono abt 1780 and Maddalena De Magistris abt 1785 for their baptism and marriage records. I would try the church of SANTUARIO MARIA SS. ANNUNZIATA If you don't speak Italian hire a guide for a day who speaks English to help you with that task have all your info written down ahead of time
Have a great trip

I just found the link below which shows the first two churches as having records, but not the one mentioned by Marty. Also, if you are going to try to go to one of the churches, you should contact the parish priest in advance. Some priests administer to more than one parish, even in different towns, and they simply don't have the time to do research for you. If you contact the parishes in advance, you can at least determine if records for your ancestors are there, and then you can decide how to proceed

Here are two other parishes in Spinete at this link

Thank you both again.

I will definately contact the comune and both parishes to see if they can help.

Your help and advise has been invaluable to me.

Kind regards
