Wtat area does the latin Terre Vite refer to?

Post by gmac54 »

Have been following forbears through the italian marriage/birth and death certificates online. The ones I need some assistance with are from Sicily. What area does Terre Vite refer to? Others refer to Urbis Panorbi? Does anyone know where is this as well?

Please can you post in what context did you find these words?

Possibly Terra Vitae is the Comune of Vita (province of Trapani).

Urbis Panorbi likely is Urbis Panormi = Palermo
