It appears most, if not all, Rampone's originated in Frinco, Asti, Piemonte, Italy. Looking to connect with any Rampone descendants or anyone knowing some stories about them. I knew a family with the surname Rampone. They were from Northeastern Ohio. Originally, though, they were from Lazio (for generations). Maybe, over the years, the Rampones spread out from Piedmont. Several of the surnames in my family were originally northern but my recent ancestors were born in Campania. I have a site saved on one of my computers that has an Italian surname distributor. I'll try to find it.
