Translation help for both Anzani birth records

Post by colawman »

I would appreciate translation of the birth record of Antonio Anzani Number 205 and Maria Giuditta Anzani Number 206. I initially was researching records for Maria, but found just above her name is another Anzani (perhaps twins?) Thank yo in advance.

Birth No 205: Antonio Anzani
Appearing was Francesco Anzani, son of Stefano, 33, contadino (peasant farmer), living in Mariano, to present a baby boy (died – must be an error), (born?) today, 12 November 1872, 6 am, from his wife Giuditta Crippa, daughter of Giuseppe, 29, living with him, in the house they live, in Via Montebello, No 12, which son was given the name Antonio.

Side note: 25 October 1902 marries Angela Brunati/Brunato?

Birth No 206: Maria Giudetta Anzani
Raimondi Anzani, son of deceased Angelo, 38 yo, contadino, living in Mariano, appeared to present a baby girl, who he reported was born today, 12 November 1872 at 10 am, from his wife Luigia Pozzi, daughter of deceased ?, 33, his wife living with him, in the house where they lived in Via Montebello, No 12, which daughter was given the name Maria Giudetta.

So not twins, different parents, but living at the same address. Maybe the fathers were brothers?

With the blur and the brightness, this was quite a hard read so hopefully I have it correct.

Sorry it's taken a while to get this to you. It's obviously got lost in the long queue of translations over the last few days.

Angela,
I cannot thank you enough for your willingness to translate this difficult document. You are a blessing. You have uncovered the identities of two generations previously unknown! A simple posting of thanks is such an inadequate return for the gift you have provided.
All the best,

Thank you so much for your kind words Keith. I really appreciate them. It did take a little while to decipher and it's heartwarming that you appreciate this. Blessings to you also.

Thanks for the back up, Livio. It's great that these records are on line. I really struggled to read the attachments. The online images are so much clearer. There was possibly two Antonio Anzani's and they annotated the wrong record. I've seen this happen before.
