Appeared Giovanni Sticca, 65, farmer residing in Tocco Casauria, and Eustachio Sticca, 32, farmer residing in this town, to declare that at 8:15 AM on the 20th, at the house in Contrada Frangoli [no number] died Carmine Sticca, age 69, farmer residing in Tocco Casauria, born in this town to deceased Emidio, a farmer wo resided in Tocco Casauria, and to deceased Concetta Rizzo, farmer who resided in this town in her life; [Carmine] was the husband of Rosa Iacuone.
Present as witnesses to the declaration were Camillo Lanza, 52, farmer; and Donato Iacuone, 60, farmer.

And here is the death of Irene Salce in 1876

Death occurred at 2:15 AM on the 3rd at the house at Via de Gasperis(?).
Irene Salce was age 63, a midwife residing in Tocco Casauria, born in this town to deceased Eustachio Sticca, farmer residing in this town, and to Domenica Santilli who was a midwife residing in this town. Irene was the widow of Antonio Tucci.
Witnesses to the record: Vincenzo Santilli, son of Domenico, age 53, farmer; and Giuseppe Stronci(sp?), 33, farmer.

Elizabetta Sticca (my grandmother) was married to Pasquale Lattanzio (born 5 JUL 1895 in Tocco da Casuaria, Abruzzi). His parents on his birth record are Eustachio Lattanzio and Lucia Rizio. He has several siblings with these same parents. In my family tree I have the parents of Lucia Rizio as Giovanni Rizio and Adole Lanza, and I cannot find any supporting documents to prove these are her parents. If you could find any documents that would indicate the parents of Lucia Rizio, it would be greatly appreciated.

The side story... It was rumored in my family that we are related to Mario Lanza, and I'm trying to find the common ancestor. If Adole Lanza is truly the mother of Lucia Rizio, it would be a starting point.

This is great! I confirmed the Lanza, and went back another generation of Lattanzio (Pasquantonio and Maria Grazia Tucci).

How did you find this? I search many time with many different parameters.
