Tessa,

How did you find the marriage of Eustachio Lattanzio and Lucia Rizio? I still can't find it using the Trova i Nomi search. I can only find it using the link you posted.

If you could find the marriage of Pasquale Lanza and Camilla Mariani (the parents of Adelaide Lanza) it would be awesome!

How far back do these online records go? Pasquale Lanza died in 1878 at the age of 82, which means he was born in 1796. Would his birth act be online?

Thank you very much for all the assistance!

H Joe,

I have not yet located a marriage for Pasquale Lanza and Camilla Mariano - but I did find the marriage of their son, Giovanni Lanza (brother to Adelaide?) in Tocco in 1845.
#26 - Dated 3 September 1845
Giovanni Lanza, 25, son of Pasquale Lanza and Camilla Mariano
Luisa Francazio, 17, daughter of Camillo Francazio and Imeralda Marino

Here is the birth act of Giovanni Lanza in 1820.
At the time Pasquale Lanza was age 23, making his birth about 1796-7.
Camilla Mariano is his legitimate wife, age 24. That would mean that they married before 1820, but I have searched the Tocco marriage records and have not found them (1809-1820). It is possible that Camilla was from a different town and they married there.

EDIT TO ADD***

Here is the Publication of Banns of Marriage for Pasquale Lanza and Camilla Mariano. :D
Publication of banns
#49
Dated 4 July 1819 in Tocco
Publication of the promise of marriage between
Pasquale Lanza, 22, farmer residing in Tocco; son of deceased Giovanni, who died on 6 January 1814; and of deceased Maria Grazia Rossi; who died on 2 October 1800.
AND
Camilla Mariano, 23 farmer residing in Tocco; daughter of Giuseppantonio Mariano, farmer residing in Tocco; and of deceased Concetta Salce, who died 4 February 1810.

:-D

I took another look at the marriages. The index listed alpabetically by first name...

Here is the marriage of Pasquale Lanza and Camilla Mariano :-)
The record is dated 22 July 1819 - but a quick look at the margin note by the official states that he married them on 4 September. I will read over the document to see what it says.

EDIT TO ADD***
#16
Dated 22 July 1819 in Tocco.
Groom: Pasquale Lanza, 22 (same information as in the publication of banns given about his parents and their dates of death)
Bride: Camilla Mariano (her father, Giuseppantonio Mariano was present to give his consent - and same information as the publication about the death of her mother, Concetta Salce)
First publication of banns on 4 July, and the second on 11 July, 1819.
There was no opposition to the marriage.

Many of the marriage acts have a margin note about the civil ceremony taking place on a date later than the date on the record.

My great grandparents Eustachio Lattanzio and Lucia Rizio had several children between 1893 and 1904. I'm trying to determine if two of their children Annina and Antonina were twins that both died as babies. If you could provide the translation for these records, it might help me determine if they were twins.

Death of Antonina Lattanzio

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Based on their ages at the time of their deaths, they were not twins.

Antonina was 20 days old on 2 Jan 1906, the day of her death; born 13 Dec 1905
Aninna who was 18 months old died on the 15th of September 1905, 3 months before Antonina's birth.

Excellent - Thank you! I thought Antonina was 20 months old when she died which caused my confusion.

Thanks again!
