San Pellegrino, Italy: Trying to locate birth, marriage, and/or death certificates

Hello all,

I am trying to locate any records of my ancestors that are from San Pellegrino. My great grandfather's name is Arcangelo Nicodemos Piagentini and he was born on 7/19/1896 in San Pellegrino. He is the son of Angelo Piagentini and Fidalma La Zuri. Any suggestions or input someone can provide is appreciated!

Hi,
could it be San Pellegrino in Alpe in the comune of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Tuscany?
Most of the Piagentinis seem to be concentrated in that area.
The only comune with the name San Pellegrino is in the province of Bergamo and it has no birth record of Arcangelo Piagentini in 1896.

In Castelnuovo Garfagnana on 18 Jul 1896 was born a Carlo Ottavio Piagentini son of Angelo (son of late Lorenzo) and of Gesualda Zanni, married to Ida Grilli in Livorno, so something don't match...... this record is no abt your ancestor... https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1 ... cc=2043811

It are a note at bottom, but frankly is no much readable...
I no found other Piagentinis born in Jul 1896.. maybe he was born in Castiglione di Garfagnana and no in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana..

Yes sorry, I meant Castiglione di Garfagnana where there is the hamlet of San Pellegrino in Alpe. Unfortunately for Castiglione the records before 1900 are not on familysearch.
