Need help translating family documents from Venice

Post by ladyofmarius »

I just obtained some family records from Venice and they are hard for me to translate because I know very little Italian and the the handwriting is hard to read. Any help translating would be greatly appreciated.

This is the birth act of Adelina Battistuzzi

Dated 9 October 1924 at the town hall in Venice, before the official.
Appeared Emanuela Gentile, 48, midwife residing in Venice, to declare that at 1 AM on the 4th of the current month at the house in Castella #651, to Pasqua Pagotto, housewife, wife of Luigi Batistuzzi, age 33, was born a female child who she presented to the official and to whom was given the name ADELINA GIOVANNA.

The side notation states that on 30 August 1948 she married in Venezia-Lido with Rodolfo Kramer, as act #37, Parte II, Vol. 4 of the 1948 marriages.

I know Castello is a region of venice. Does 651 go to a particular street?
