giacomo ship manifest

Post by gentilejoy@yahoo.com »

Can someone please tell me who Giacomo Pezzano was going to upon his arrival, and the address of this relative according to his ship manifest (#4 on list) below? Also, what would be the English version/translation of "Giacomo"? Thank you.

Giacomo often changed to Jack

Thank you. I did determine the first name of relative to be Giuseppe and house #355, but I was not sure of last. Could it also be 355 "Broome Street". I know there is a Broome Street in Lower Manhattan, New York City. Do you think it might be Broome Street?

By spelling it looks like BROWM ...but with a little searching; 355 Brown doesn't appear to exist and 355 Broome is deep in 'Little Italy'.........

Yes, thank you! Many did settle in Little Italy, New York City. Seems to be Broome Street. Thank you again.
