Hi. I'm trying to find more information on my great-great grandparents:
NICOLA MINGIONE (Born around 1810 in Gricignano di Aversa, Campania, Italy and died around 1888).
CARMELA MARTINIELLO (Born around 1838 also in Gricignano di Aversa, Campania, Italy and died 1875.
They had at least one daughter (my great-grandmother) GIUSTINA (MARIA) MINGIONE.

Dated 25 May 1888 in Gricignano - before the official appeared Domenico Benivenga, 48, gardener; and Luigia Tolipano, 50, gardener; both of the town, to declare that at 7 PM yesterday, at the house in Via S. Antonio Abate, died Nicola Mingione, age 78, farmer, residing and born in Gricignano to deceased Mose' [Mingione] and to deceased Maria Saveria di Luise. He was the widower of Carmela Martiniello.
Witnesses to the recording of the death: Luigi Munno, 30, farmer; and Paolantonio Martiniello 47, farmer.

I believe that your estimation of the birth year (1838) of Carmela Martiniello is incorrect.
Here is a birth in 1838 of a daughter born to Nicola Mingione and Carmela Martiniello

Dated 20 June 1838 - born same day - baptized the same day.
Father: Nicola Mingione, 21,
Mother: Maria Carmela Martiniello, 23, his wife.
Child was given the name Maria Carmina Consiglia

It appears that Nicola was about about 1817, and Carmela was born about 1815.

Carmela was age 50, housewife residing and born in Gricignano, to deceased Paolo [Martiniello] and to unknown mother. She was the wife of Nicola Mingione.

In the above death act, "unknown mother" just means that the person declaring the death did not know her mother's name.
Below is the marriage of Nicola Mingione and Carmela Martiniello where her mother's name is listed.
These would be the most accurate ages since they would have needed to present their birth acts for the marriage.
