We are looking for information about our family before emigrating to the USA. Several listings in the USA show Genova as their home, but many searches have not yielded any information.
The family member is Lorenzo Carillo (n. 1854) and emigrated about 1881/1882.
Any help or suggestions on how to best find records would be greatly appreciated. We have searched records in http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it, but to no avail.
Thank you very much in advance for your time and any information.

Re: Carillo Family information from Genoa (born 1854)
Genova did not start civil records until after 1854 so you would need to know the parish to request a baptism record.
