Looking for birth certificates of Margherita Pappadopoli and Leonardo Tartaglione

Hello everyone, i am trying to locate my grandparents birth certificates. My understanding they were both born and died in SAN Severo, Foggia


Leonardo Tartaglione
Born 13 March 1896
Died 24 feb 1966


Margherita Pappadopoli
Born 1 May 1892
Died 1 Nov 1960

You need to write to the town for these years I believe.

Looks like you can look for the 1892 record in the 10 year index of births (years 1886-1895) at your closest Family History Center....(film no. 1961910...or DGS no. 7843469).

The 1896 birth year is not included in this Family Search record set, so no online help for you on that one. Here's a link to what Family Search has:

You could try to email the stato civile office of the town to request the official birth certificates: statocivile@comune.san-severo.fg.it
