Amendola, Lucibello, Torre, Niglio and Amalfi

Post by lisa_amendola »

I am a researching the Amalfi branch of the Amendola and Lucibello family. My grandfather was Guiseppe Amendola 1865 -1953 and my grandmother was Carolina Lucibello 1886-1955. They immigrated to the New Haven CT area. My grandfather was a fisherman and had gone to Brazil at some point. His parents were Innocenzo Amendola and Lucia Niglio or Negri.
My grandmother's family were famous in America for baking and had a very successful pastry shop in New Haven. Her parents were Andrea Lucibello and Maria Teresa Torre.
If anyone can help with more info on this line it would be a great help.

Innocenzo and Lucia were my great-great grandparents. Giuseppe and my great grandfather were brothers. Have you been able to flesh out the line on any sites since originally posting? There is a lot of information on the family on antenati.
