I'm looking for a birth cert for my wife's grandmother so we can find her grand mothers parents. I've looked at the Italian Surname registry but haven't found anything. He maiden name as she has listed on all of he docs we have on her is Linfa. Can't find anywhere that this is an Italian name. Even her marriage license shows this name. She came to the US in 1910 to marry Bert Vieta, then it looks like she went back to Italy until 1922 when she moved here permanently. They lived in Price, Utah and both Bert and Carolina Caterina Linfa were from Forno Canevase, Italy. Kind of at a dead end.

Can you post a picture of the writing of the name? The surnames Binfa, Ninfa, and Linda can all be found around Torino.

Here is a copy of their marriage cert. This is the only had written piece. Everything else that has her name she has typed it, on her petition for naturalization, etc.
