Post by DelloIacovo »

Here is the link. This page and the next.
This is for the Dello Iacovo Surname.
I was looking for any relevant names from parents, streets, dates, etc!
It looks like they might be related as my grandparents lived on Zolli?
THANKS for any help!!

I don't think you have given us the correct link. I don't see the name Dello Iacovo here. I looked in the index as well and didn't see the name there either. (The surname here is Calandro - the children are twins.)

I’m sorry! I meant Calandro. I am searching my grandmothers side now!

Just adding to what bbivona has said:

Pellegrino Calandro, deceased father of these two children, died on 3 November 1898.

Thank you!! So the other twin survived? It was the father who died?
He died a few days before she gave birth??

Yes, the father died.

The record tells us that the father, Pellegrino Calandro, died on 3 November 1898. The children were born on 10 December 1898. So the father died 5 weeks 2 days before the children were born.

To ascertain whether both children survived or not you would need to check the death records, if they are on line.

It would appear that both survived birth. There's no indication here that either twin died. The father was already deceased at the time of the birth though. Usually the death of the child wouldn't be noted on the record unless stillborn.
