So, even when it's known to be the same woman, the match is only 57%. Of course, the photos are many years apart.
But, so are the ones for her husband, and he gets 80%.
That suggests that the process is iffy at best.
How about face recognition between my second and third photos?

Photo quality is a big factor, I tested some of my family photos and got higher % match.

This is one of my Great Aunts, photo on the left is 1936 and the photo on the right is 1939.
This is my GGM, Photo on the left is of unknown date, presumed to be early 1900's and photo on the right is from 1936, age 80.

I located a grand-niece of the couple in Photo 1. She had the same wedding photo. She doesn't really remember the couple in person, but compared the photos (1 and 2) and doesn't think it's the same couple, though she thought the woman was similar.
So, it's iffy.
