I am trying to determine if Giovanni Sorce has anything to do with Giuseppe Sorce/Maria Lombardo parents of Francesco Sorce

Cavalier Giovanni Sorce, son of deceased Carmelo, was the secretary to the mayor of the civil state. I'm not sure what you mean by supplement in your title to this thread.

there are indexes and sometimes additions to indexes called supplements or part 1-- part 2
i guess this is not any additional notes for a Sorce record

If you go back two images, you will see the name of the deceased in the margin and that his surname is not Sorce. He was a soldier who died in a hospital in another town, and notice of his death was sent to his native town. That's why his death record appears in this section of the records.

by supplement i meant part 2 or additional separate records or notes at end or even in the middle of collections. It is frustrating when there are multiple indexes in one collection which sometimes restart record or folio numbers.
The record name is Maria Bonfante. I believe i would like to ask if this record could be translated further as towards the end i see fu salvatrice daughter of Giuseppe Sorce
