Looking for information on my great-grandmother

Post by ludinunzi »

Hello!

I'm currently looking for information about my great grandmother called Emilia Di Nunzio who resided in Rome. The time of her birth should be between the years 1918/1919, daughter of Giuseppe according to his son's birth certificate.

His (only?) son was born in 1944 and was named Claudio with her surname in Como, Lombardy.

Unfortunately that's the only information I have as I was able to find my grandfather birth certificate and was lucky to find out why my graandfather was born with this surname in the north which was pretty uncommon back then, although I do not know why she could had had his son in the middle of the war in Lombardy and not in Lazio.

Any information would be helpful.

Thank you! :)

Do you know if she stayed in Como, or went back to Roma with her son?

Hi!

The only thing we know is that he emigrated to Argentina when he was 4 years old from Como with another family who adopted him.
