It's only pronounced di Angelo for an English speaker who say 'd' as 'dee'. In Italian it would sound like it's run together like dangelo with the 'a' pronounced like an 'ah'.
What Essgee said above about the vowel is correct. If the name starts with a vowel then you have a contraction (like can not= can't).
You just put an apostrophe and run them together since that's how it would be pronounced in natural speech.
The name actually MEANS di Angelo though (or "of / from Angel). It's a patronymic name.

My Mother is Italian by her father she never met him and only knew his first name but my ancestry.com and my moms keeps putting people with the name di’Angelo on our relative list it says we came from Sicily to Pennsylvania then moved around America I wonder if we are related
