Her father's name is Frank, this can't be the correct record

It's definitely the correct record as all children's names and ages match those found in the census documents and obits. You can see already in just the two obituaries you posted her husband's name was written Samuel and Carlo, so why should his be the only incorrect name? Happened in these scenarios all the time.

Just in case you need more convincing ... I've linked now the same parents Giuseppe Bonfiglio and Antonina Giordano to their other children. This includes Maria's older brother Francesco Bonfiglio born in 1868 in Chiusa Sclafani, who emigrated to Chicago and can be found there on the 1940 census before Maria's death, as well as her younger sister Veronica Bonfiglio who would go on to marry Salvatore Coco. Both 'Frank' Bonfiglio and Mrs. Coco can be seen in this very obituary.

I'm still working on finding more evidence for you of who Maria's second husband 'Sam' Marino really was, however you can be confident that this is her story so far. She was born in 1870, married Gregorio Bondi in 1890, had children through 1903 in Italy only three of which survived adolescence, and immigrated to New Orleans in 1903 (ship manifest: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... cc=1916009 ) with her three Bondi children, indicating she was still married. Gregorio seems to have come to America the year before, where he likely died or left the picture sometime between 1903-1906. Maria marries Marino around 1905 and they begin having children. All of this can be corroborated by birth records, census records, and the obituaries you've posted.
