born ca.1806 so most likely deceased before 1900. survived husband paolo labate who died in 1875. most likely died 1875-1895.i checked reggio calabria death indexes for 1876-1885 and 1886-1895 with no success. could have missed her entry. i see several maria pellicano's in these 2 indexes and one of them could possibly be her as maria politano/pulitano was erroneously noted as maria pellicano in husband paolo labates 1875 death record. if possible could someone verify this?

thanks very much i scoured those indexes and somehow missed this. saw several maria "pellicanos" whom i mentioned was a possible misspelling in the death record of husband paolo labate and thought could actually be politano. couldn't make out her age which should be in the 70s as she was born ca.1806. my last and hardest search is finding the death records of her daughter fortunata labate (paolo labate & maria politano) and her husband paolo labate (antonino labate & grazia ieraca). a real tough one. paolo was born in 1827 and fortunata in 1836.they married in 1859 and died sometime after 1872 as son orazio was born that year. they would have been 45 and 36 in 1872 so could have lived well past 1900. i checked death indexes from 1875 to 1895 and found nothing so either i missed their possible deaths in these tears and indexes or they died after 1895. they could have died well after 1895 and even well into the early 1900s. since there are no 10 year indexes after 1895 and searching another 20 or 30 possible years in such a large comune as reggio di calabria is a massive attempt is there any possible shortcut to narrowing down the time period search?
