Help finding relatives in Naples area

Post by Rabe »

I am looking for relatives in the Naples area (or any living family in the US): Vitalie Vitone born 1/21/1897 Puccianielle (grandpa) and (grandma) Maria Toscano born 4/10/1902 Caserta Vecchia. They arrived in Canada and went to Philadelphia and opened a shoe store on Broad & Tasker in Philly around 1923. Great grandparents Stanislas Vitone 1858 born in Puccianielle, Caserta Campania. He married at 22 Maria Celentano (28) on 11/251880 in Turo, Tora Caserta, Campania. They had Teresa, Nicola, Giovannai, Ernesto, Orfeo and Vitalio Vitone-my grandpa. My mom was Geneva Bernadette Vitone. I had an uncle sam, aunt gloria and aunt Ida. I appreciate any connections and open to questions. Thank You!

Ok, let’s start with the known dates.
You may already have these acts, if so, they are for our reference.

Stanislao Vitone was born on 23 December 1858. #141

Stanislao Vitone and Maria Celentano 1880 marriage in Tuoro.

Birth of Vitagliano Vitone in Puccianiello in 1897.

Now, for Vitagliano siblings.
At this link you can find birth records from 1881 to 1910

I’ve only looked at a few years and found Teresa born on 26 January 1884.
Act #9
There is also an annotation on the margin.

Perhaps if you wish to look at that link you could find other siblings.
