Birth record of Giovanni Miragliotta, born on June 23, 1884 at 8 pm, at home in Capo d'Orlando, from Carmelo Miragliotta, 33 years old, mariner as job, living in Naso, and his wife Rosaria Santaromata.

Death record of Giovanna Miragliotta, 3 months old, daughter of Carmelo, mariner as job, and Rosaria Santaromita, died in Naro on September 26th, 1884 at 5 am.
There is also an annotation that states that the real sex of the deceased is male, and not female as stated on that record, so the real name was Giovanni Miragliotta and not Giovanna, as stated.

So I can confirm that these records refer both to the same person, Giovanni Miragliotta.

Also the mother's surname is written Santaromata on the birth record and Santaromita on the death record.
