Help finding birth record: Serafina Adriano (born c. 1893-1894, Piedmont - Cuneo/Asti area)

Hello everyone,

I am writing from Brazil hoping to find the birth record of my great-grandmother, Serafina Adriano.

I have already located precise documents for her parents and older brother, but Serafina remains a mystery. Based on the ship manifest, she was born around 1893 or 1894, likely in the province of Cuneo or Asti.

Here is the exact family timeline I have confirmed:

1. The Parents

Father: Lorenzo Adriano (https://www.familysearch.org/pt/tree/pe ... s/GXH9-KJP)

Born: April 29, 1861 in Guarene (Cuneo).

Mother: Luigia Candida Bonaria(https://www.familysearch.org/pt/tree/pe ... s/GXH9-8NZ)

Born: September 20, 1862 in Coazzolo (Asti).

Baptized: September 22, 1862 (Parish of San Siro, Coazzolo).

Marriage:

Civil Act: January 7, 1888 in Coazzolo.

2. The Siblings (Tracing the family's movement)

Carlo Francesco Adriano (1st son): Born October 29, 1888 in Frazione La Bianca n°16, Alba (Cuneo). This address was they used to live, a house.

Note: The family moved from Coazzolo to Alba shortly after marriage.

Albino Adriano: Born approx. 1890 (possibly in Alessandria, i found this in his brazilian marriage).

Domenico Adriano: Born approx. 1892.

3. The Target: Serafina Adriano(https://www.familysearch.org/pt/tree/pe ... s/LR47-GNY)

Birth Estimate: 1893 or 1894. In her brazilian record of marriage in Brazil says only Piedmont for birth location.

Source: The family arrived in Brazil on September 1, 1897 (Ship Città di Genova). Serafina is listed on the manifest as 3 years old.


Status: Since her parents married in Jan 1888, she was born legitimate (legittima).

The Problem: I have searched the civil registration indices for Alba, Guarene, and Coazzolo for the years 1893-1894 but cannot find her entry.

Given that the first child was born in Alba and the parents are from Guarene/Coazzolo, does anyone know if families in this area often registered children in smaller nearby frazioni or bordering comunes like Barbaresco, Castagnito, or Neive?

Any help or lookup in local databases would be amazing.

Hello Farassino, how are you? Yes i remember i tried to reply but the system could not let me to answer i don't know why and thank you so much for finding the transcription of Lorenzo and Luigia's marriage, helped me a lot!!!

Anyway, i'm still looking and now with a lot of information...

The first Serafina's sibling was born in they house in Frazione La Bianca n°16 Alba...i think it's a great information...they lived there after they marriage(Lorenzo and Luigia)

I still don't know where Serafina was born...if anyone could help me i would appreciate it!
