Hi!

I am struggling to decipher a birth record for my Great-Great Grandfather, Giovanni Pasquale Vezzoso.
The cursive script is daunting...

His is on page 68.

Thank you so much in advance!!!

Hello, welcome to the forum!!! Sorry, for the late reply. I suppose your first post has only just been approved. Here is the important information:

Birth Record No 135: Giovanni Pasquale Vezzoso
Registered in Laurenzo, Potenza, on 18 May 1861

Before the official appeared Mariantonia Valino, 61 yo, Levatrice (midwife), daughter of the deceased Giovanni (Valino). She presented a male baby reporting that the same was born on 17 May 1861, at 6 pm, from Mariantonia Grippo, 36 yo, living in the town (Laurenzo) and from Emilio Vezzoso, 27 yo, contadino (peasant/farmer), living here with his wife. The baby was born in their home in Strada Piazza and was given the name of Giovanni Pasquale Vezzoso.

Giovanni Pasquale Vezzoso was baptised in Laurenzo Parish on 19 May 1861.

Other names mentioned at the base of the record are those witnessing the registration.
