seeking 2 marriage records in frigento avellino. 1.michele addesa and antonia iannuzzi.their son loreto was born in 1813 so the marriage if in civil records would have to be between 1809 and 1813. 2.pasquale cipriano and teresa flammia. daughter allessandra was the wife of loreto addesa. born in 1822 so this marriage would have been between 1809 and 1822 if in the civil records. any help most appreciated.

thank you. daughter allessandra was born in 1822 and my guess was her parents marriage would be after 1809 the beggining of civil records for mainland italian records (sicily began in 1820). as husband loreto was born in 1813 its likely his parents married before 1809. that marriage was only recorded in whatever parish it occurred in. i gave up on trying to access parish records years ago as they never respond to written requests-even with donations. also,in small comunes,there was most likely only 1 or 2 parishes,unlike major cities,where there could be many. virtually impossible to find the correct one.

can you make out the ages of the couple? it looks like pasquale is 20 but i can't find any reference to wife teresa. wish i could find that other marriage!
