the last entry folio 175 francesco lombardo is listed - i found 175 but he is not there. It looks like there are several books. I cannot find this in the records.

They were married 19 April 1842, so you need to be looking through 1842 records if you really want the church record as well. (It didn't seem like this couple were who you were looking for at the time, so read through the thread first.)

I looked at that other thread
It seems that was not the record i wanted. If i read it correctly it reverses the grooms last name to tuzzeo and bride to lombardo.
I am looking for Francesco Lombardo and Salvatrice Tuzzeo.
I did look in 1842 but found nothing.
Do you know where the record for the index mentioned above is located? I cannot find it either as when i went to 175 it is not there. As i think i mentioned before i observed there are several books included in this collection. i tried to spot look through the whole collection even the talk to text find option.
BUT the index has them listed correctly. It is frustrating.

Does the number 175 not refer to the number of the entry?

Linda, personally, I feel that if the Civil Record is online, which it is, you should look for that as in my opinion they are quicker to find, easier to read, and often have more info, and I'm not too bad at translating those .

Groom: Francesco Lombardo, 23 yo, born and living in Mussomeli, a villico, the son of Andrea Lombardo, 50 yo, also a villico, living in the town, and Maria Ricotto, also 50, living in the town.

Bride: Salvatrice Tuz(z)eo, 22 yo, born and living in Mussomeli, the daughter of deceased Carmelo Tuz(z)eo , a villico who had lived in the town when living, and of Giuseppa Bonfante, 40 yo, living in the town.
