Re: needing allegato for Antonino Monteleone e Antonia Roccaforte
Day June 8th, 1857, 14 o'clock, Santa Margherita di Belice.
Marriage banns between groom-to-be Antonino Montilione, 27 years old, bachelor, peasant as job, son of the both deceased Biagio and Anna Saladino, born and living in Santa Margherita, and bride-to-be Antonia Roccaforte, maiden, 21 years old, born in Montevago, living in Santa Margherita, daughter of the both deceased Antonino and Maria Perniciaro Lombardo, and they promised to celebrate their marriage in the rite of the Catholic Church.
After there were read the spouses' birth records, the parents' and paternal grandparents' death records and a second-part memorandum reporting that there weren't held any oppositions to the marriage, and about so there were four witnesses, Calogero Ferraro, 25 years old, wealthy man as job, living in Santa Margherita, Andrea Casaccia, 58 years old, salesman as job, living in Santa Margherita, Don Rosario Abruzzo, 52 years old, usher as job, living in Santa Margherita, and Don Lorenzo Montilione, 22 years old, wealthy man as job, living in Santa Margherita.
They testify that the spouses couldn't write.
The religious marriage was celebrated in the parish church of Santa Margherita on June 9th, 1857, with witnesses Giuseppe Ferraro and Gaetano Fasullo, and was reported on page 25 of the church marriage record book.

No allegati online, as far as I can tell.

The marriage record is 1847 not 1857 as in Dani’s translation

Linda
do you have a suggestion to get the allegato as when i contacted for another allegato i needed the state archives they ask for payment but then do not allow me to pay
they do not accept alternative payments just the italian payment system for which i have consulted my local italian consulate and a homeowner in sicily for which neither of them were successful in paying either.

If you click on the camera next to 1847, it says this item is not currently digitally accessible due to access restrictions. I don’t think contacting the archivio di Stato di Agrigento directly will help but you can try.

Re: needing allegato for Antonino Monteleone e Antonia Roccaforte
Sorry Linda. I was hoping that when I clicked on the camera next to the entry in the card catalog on family search, it would indicate that the allegati were microfilmed and available for rental through a local Mormon family history center. But that’s not the case. I have never had reason to deal directly with an Italian state archive or sending money to one.

Thank you very much, I know, it was my typing mistake.

No problem, Dani. We all make typos and appreciate second sets of eyes to make corrections, if necessary. Glad to have you as part of the team.
