I am looking for more info.......the WW1 draft did not mean that he served in war...only that he must register.

In 1942 all aliens must register.......he is not a natural citizen of the USA and he was not naturalized at that time.

The matrimonio certificato would have to be sent for......I have only the indice of names......

dear Lee great job... in the draft card he was single, if i read well... living with a step mother.. this is a interesting data... in the 1930 census no Viola and no Peter and no wife......... and I dont' read "widow" word.. always if I read well the census sheet.............. Rosa De Simone mother in law.... Salvatore was 29 old in the marriage... this info for alany.. sound rights? regards, suanj

In the draft he is single.....father and mother is listed.....

But no Salvatore with a Peter or Viola in the census...

No sure death record for Maddalena........but there is one for Salvatore:

but I read that madelina o maddalena at 1920 should be 21 not 18 .. am I wrong?? Probably there was several mistakes... armada could be Armando and Simonette is Simonetti...But if he got married at 1920 . how is possible that it could be single at 1942?? and possible sons or daughters don't be seen ?? About a Viola aged 79 currently living in providence .. could any of you tell me anything?? And no possible peter or pietro lanzi born after 1920 could be in USA , as well in any cemetary??
Unfortunately, ignorance at that time and different spelling between italian and english carry unpleased maistakes that make many mistakes and misunderstandings...

If you find out other things pleas tell me.. I 'm here waiting for ... thx
