At wits end! Michele Masino from Sala Consilina manifest

Post by sohojohnny »

I have found 3 of my 4 grandparents. My grandfathers crossing into New York in 1912 is a mystery. I have tried every spelling and no luck. I have him here in the US via census and other records but cannot find any ship manifest!
Any suggestions???

Hi,

only for suggestion but can you give a look at this arrival manifest?
1912 arrival for Marino Michele (age 19) from Sala Consilina going to th brother Marino in Paterson and leaving in Italy the Father Felice...
Perhaps the last name was mispelled?

Laura,

Can you repost it? It can't be read. Try a different format maybe.

Hi Elizabeth and Laura,

Not to complicate things but........

The surnames Marino and Masino both occur in the town of Sala Consilina in Pagine Bianche listings as well as Ellis Island ship manifests. :(
