It is always the last or next to last that brings success to an endeavor. Please keep me posted. =Peter=

Dead end with Paul A. Schmidt--he doesn't seem to go to Italy or Switzerland he sent "only records we have here at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City"

Re: Cerini Family-Giumaglio, Switzerland
You keep making things confusing by posting things from one post to it and here. There is no Kirkpatrick reference here so it makes it tough to respond. I will check my other post. PLEASE keep the topics separate. One is dealing with Italy research and the other Switzerland and all the genealogist I speak to only do one country or the other regardless of how close they are.
Paul A. Schmidt did get back to me again and said once in a while he goes to Switzerland but never Italy. He was quoting $700 a day which is way out of the price range of those in Switzerland.

Well maybe you catch a break. I mentioned Kirkpatrick because she may have other referrals to offer. =Peter=

See response under Malugani post. I am reducing cross posting.
