Pontelandolfo to USA - Great grandfather

Hi ** I'm going to have a few questions on this forum! Seems like we have a lot of mysteries in the family hehe

My great-grandfather left his wife and children in Italy and went to America (i think Connecticut..) although he is presumably buried in the Bronx NY though.
I just wanted to find out what he did in the states.. why he didn't go back home? could he have gotten married?
where did he live? we found a pin with a photo - from the company "STANLEY WORKS BRIDGEPORT". . . but no idea if it's him or not..

Not sure if there are ways to search this? So far I only found a birth record.

Born: May 17, 1883 died.. 1947
Married to: Nicolina Albini in Pontelandolfo
Had 5 kids: Annunziata, Orsola, Pascuale, Angelo and Domenico and Donato (b.1926).
