I submitted my application for a new passport this morning, and it all went well, but thought to share that if you have more than six months remaining on your current passport, you might get a little lecture. Seems I was two months too soon. :oops:

They accepted the application after a bit of huffing and puffing. Only Italian bureaucracy could find fault with taking in money too early!

Anyway, they say 10 days to receive the new one in the mail, so hope this helps someone time their renewal to the staff's satisfaction. :)
