Help translating a birth record in Sicily

Post by ashumake »

Hello! We are searching for my husband's grandmother's birth records and are having a hard time finding it. She was born in 1922 in Sicily, somewhere around Palermo, but we are unsure exactly where. We have narrowed it down to Carini, Petralia Soprana, or Montelepre.
Can someone help us translate this following birth record? This is the record of her father, who was a "foundling" and given the name "Guiseppe Pitroliere, or Guiseppe Pitrolisi", which folks in Petralia Soprana tell us just means "from Petralia". Apparently he was then sent to an orphanage in Palermo, but we're not sure exactly where. If we could have any more clues from this birth certificate, that would be so helpful! Thank you so much! I have attached it.
