It certainly looks Lamento but could not find any references for that surname.
Apparently now it doesn’t exist. Maybe it did then.
Could it be a personally written interpretation of Lamante, present in Melilli?
The word after is difonta (defunta, deceased).
Also the father Giuseppe is difonto. (defunto).
As we can see some words are very “sicilianizzate” and possibly the surname is as well.
Regarding his wife’s surname I also read D’Arsì but, again, have doubts….

Thanks. I'd have to research the surname. It doesn't ring a bell for that town from what I recall seeing.
