Important breakthrough

Post by campcantreg »

We have somewhat important breakthrough in the long standing quest to discover the names of our great grandmother Marianna Caccioppoli's parents. We sent for her death record in New Jersey who responded with a copy. She was born July 2nd, 1871 in Vico Equense. Her father was Lorenzo Caccioppoli; however, no name was given for her mother on the death record.

We are trying to locate a marriage record of Lorenzo Caccioppoli. Hopefully, if one is found then her mother's name will be listed for his spouse.

Can anyone please assist to locate Lorenzo Caccioppoli's marriage record?

Much Appreciated.

To prevent future duplication of efforts:

Lorenzo Caccioppoli, born 29 March 1836, married with Lucia Cuomo in 1876 in the Church of San Giovanni Battista in Massquano, Vico Equense. Years later, in 1893, they had a Civil Marriage, on 5 February. Lucia Cuomo had previously been married to Saverio Guidone (they married 25 July, 1865). Because Death Records 1866-1900 are currently not on line, it is unknown at this stage when Saverio Guidone died.
