Naturalisation in Australia

Naturalisation in Australia

Hi,

I am from Australia and my mums family came from Italy to Australia, so I was wondering if any could help me or give me advice on how I can find out if my great-grandfather was anturalised. Is it different in Australia from America???

I was going to go through my nana but she was born before 1948.

You can still go through your grandmother IF her father was Italian.

Ok cool but do I need to find out if he was naturalised??? Before she was born or if he was just naturalised?
