you need to go see someone in the Jesus Christ of Latter day saints public genealogy library for FREE... they will allow you to find the records for free. YOU DO NOT need to be of that faith. This happened to my ggrandmother, who was previously married to my great grandfather the 2nd wife did not like her she despised her so when he buried her he used her initals for her burial. so this is why they do initals of their spouses

You can write to Worth Street, you can google this in, for the address they are on worth street in brooklyn, ny... they have all records... what are their names? Did they come from sicily? I be happy to find and help you locate this.
