This information below is definitely my great grandparents and their family.

Charles immigration is listed as 1891, naturalized 1911.
The parents birthplace for Ida is clearly Italy, as is listed on 1910

Lots more to be discovered...... :D
It is always helpful to have confirmation from the poster regarding our findings!!
We need to locate Charles on a manifest, and with his parents on the 1900
census.....
Do you know either of Charles parents names?? Siblings??

I would look into the second Angelo simply because he arrived after 1904 (if you back track from his arrival of May 1906 1 yr and 10 months) you should get to abt Aug 1904.

Besides, I don't think the first Angelo was going to Mass. What was Angelo's wife's first name? (sorry if I missed it above).

and some came from Genoa but I am unsure where and when it occurred."

There definitely was some Indian Territory here in Massachusetts but it is unlikely at the time that he came to the US that it was still Indian Territory... or that it would have been recorded outside of Massachusetts because I don't think they travelled any further than perhaps New York to visit friends and family.

I spent this past weekend on the Latter Day Saints website and they have someone named "Carlo Scipione" who I suspect is my great grandfather since Charles and Carlo are very close and their stating that he was married to Ida Lagorio... hopefully more than one Scipione has not married a Ida Lagorio :)so we're not going down the wrong branch/path... but their site said his parents would have been Vincenzo Scipione and Maria D. Errico... question is: Which Vincenzo Scipione since it is another popular name in the Scipione family.

Angelo Traniello's wife was Frances Rose Scipione Traniello.

I would gather that my grandfather, Angelo Traniello would have been one year and 10 months at the time possibly when he came here as one of the sources may have stated. It is unlikely that it would be that Maria aka Marie would have been younger than Angelo as I understand Angelo to be one of the youngest, if not, the youngest in the family.

In one of my grandparent's families there was a "Gus" but I was never sure where the name Gus was derived (i.e. Guiseppe, Augusto, Augustine, Augustino) by the Gustaph or Pargusello below could be potentially "Gus"... I believe there was also a "Guy" who might have been the same as "Gus" but nicknamed.

In my grandfather's family, the siblings are thought to be (in sequential order): Maria/Maria, Gus/Guy, Paul, Anthony and Angelo.

In my grandmother's family, the siblings are thought to be: Charlie, Arthur, Frances, Rita and John (died young as I recall).

I was able to gleen from my father that the connection with the Deferrari family is that Ida Scipione's mother's sister married a Deferrari and from that family there was a another portion of the family that came to the US around the same time.

Wow, that clears up the question about Vincenzo... so Vincenzo could have been Charles/Carlo's brother or a cousin. So we're still looking for his parents and siblings names...

On FamilySearch.org, there is a listing for a Ciro Scipione who married a Maria C. Simone Fusco on 24 JUN 1901 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts with the same parents listed as Vincenzo Scipione and Maria A. D'Errico.

My father was telling me that Ida had a sister named Frances who they called Fanny and a brother Stephen that went into the priesthood.

He also mentioned an Alice Scipione and a brother that may have died in China. The latter, I'm not definite on the details.
