Thanks Tessa78--this makes a lot of sense now; Gaspaol helped provide a similar record request address as you did. My grandmother's family is from the town Lucca so I thought maybe there was a chance he was born in the same town and then moved to San Pellegrino :)

Great-thank you Erudita! It looks like in the beginning it states that on July 29, 1894 at a certain time, the information was presented to Luigi. Can you make out the time that is recorded?
